Description Ajwain has a sharp thyme like aroma and flavour.
Usage Used primarily in Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine, particularly with lentils. Also good with vegetables, fish, dalls, chutneys, curries, balti food and breads.
On the Label A fantastic flavoursome seed pod which gives a distinctive flavour to any dish. It is especially good with starchy foods like breads and pastries. You'll find it in Sunrize Gathia Sticks (the large, non-hot part of Bombay Mix).
