Description Ferns Butter Chicken Curry Paste - a rich curry paste created for a particular dish - recipe on jar!
On the Label Use FERNS' Butter Chicken Curry Paste to make a delicious, fragrant and authentic curry. Butter Chicken Recipe: 3 tsp Ferns' Butter Chicken Paste, 500g boneless chicken pieces, 1 red pepper (sliced or diced) (optional), 125g chilled butter, 250g tin of chopped tomatoes,1/2 tsp paprika, 40g single cream, cup of stock. Method: Marinate the chicken in the paste for at least 2 hours (preferably overnight). Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the marinated meat for 5 mins, turning to ensure it is evenly browned. Place in an oven proof dish and add the chopped tomatoes, pepper, paprika and stock and cook in the oven for 35 minutes. When cooked, remove the chicken from the sauce. Add the butter and cream to the sauce and stir (off the heat). Pour the sauce back over the chicken and serve.
Suitable for vegans, vegetarians & halal. Free from artificial colours, flavouring and preservatives. Gluten free and nut free.
Ingredients: Water, Chilli powder, Refined sunflower oil, Salt, Coriander, Turmeric, Fenugreek, Cumin, Ginger, Garlic, Acetic acid, Cinnamon and Cardomom.
Store in a cool and dry place, refrigerate after opening and consume within 8 weeks.
