Description
Sunrize Celery Seeds - Celery seed is the dried fruit of the Apium graveolens which is related, but not identical, to the vegetable celery plant. The tiny brown seeds have a celery-like flavour and aroma.

Celery seed has been known as a food item only since the seventeenth century. Prior to that, it was cultivated for medicinal purposes.
Usage
Pickling, vegetables, salad dressings, breads, soups, pastry, cheese dips, fish pates, savoury biscuits and tomato dishes.
Storage Requirements
Store in a cool dry place and once opened keep in an airtight container for no more than 6 months.

Celery seeds are a great addition to soups, stews and casseroles. They have a subtle flavour which has been used for centuries to enhance stocks and different dishes. Try adding a sprinkling to some vegetable soup.
