Description Sunrize Haricot Beans - A small creamy sweet oval bean that is best known for its use in Baked Beans! It is full of nutrients and a versatile bean.
The Sunrize Fact-ory Beans were a staple of the Roman and Greek diet - the bean recipes from that period are still in use today.
Usage Soups, salads, casseroles, stews etc To cook: Soak overnight in clean cold water. Drain the next morning and replce water to cover beans by 5cm. Fast boil for 10 mins. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 45 mins or until tender. Drain and save cooking water as this contains B Vitamins and can be used in recipes requiring liquid.
