Description Sunrize Long Grain Brown Rice - only the hull has been removed leaving the natural bran layer intact and because of this it has a nutty flavour and chewy texture. This is also why it takes longer to cook than white rice. Good source of B vitamins, iron, phosphorous and magnesium. Because the bran is left on, it is higher in fibre, vitamins and minerals than milled or white rice.

Usage Use in salads, stirfries, as an accompaniament to casseroles and complimets perfectly bean and tomato dishes.

Storage Requirements Store ina cool dry place and once opened keep in anairtight container.
On the Label A delicious whole grain rice. It has a lovely ‘nutty’ taste to it and is a good alternative to white rice.
Directions for use: Rinse well in cold water before use. Place in boiling water, allow to come back to the boil, then cover and cook on a very low heat for approximately 30 minutes or according to taste.
