Description
Sunrize Onion Flakes - Coarsely chopped onions that are dehydrated to form flakes. They are convenient to use and can be used as a substitution for fresh onions in a dish.

Usage
Sauces, sausages, soups, relish, stews, casseroles, sautes, stir fries, dips etc.
If there is not enough liquid in your recipe and you need to rehydrate them do this by soaking in cold water (2 part water to 1 part onion flakes) for half an hour. Use 2 and a half tablespoons of onion flakes for each fresh onion called for in your recipe.
Storage Requirements
Store in a cool dry place and once opened keep in an airtight container for no more than 6 months.

Dried onion flakes are great in soups, casseroles and Asian cuisine. They have a strong onion flavour and best all, don’t make you cry when using them!
