This special variety of Opies Onions are pickled in matured Balsamic vinegar from Modena in Italy.
Balsamic vinegar is produced using a centuries old process of pressing, fermenting and ageing unripe grapes in oak casks which give these onions a wonderful deep flavour that makes a great accompaniment to cold meats and cheeses or on there own as a tasty snack.
Store in a cool dark place, refrigerate after opening and consume within 4 weeks.
