Description
Sunrize Prunes - pitted - succulant choice prunes with the stones removed! Prunes have many health benefits including slowing down the aging process, helping to prevent constipation, lowering cholesterol, boosting memory, promoting weight loss and protecting against heart disease.
The Sunrize Fact-ory
Prunes were apparently used by the Special Operations Executive network during WWII and not just to maintain regularity among partisans huddled over secret wirelesses.The pits were removed from thousands of dried plums that had been soaked in water. Then they inserted tiny maps in the space remaining. Then the re-dried prunes were sent to POW camps by the Red Cross in relief packages.The maps contained details of the railway lines so that if anybody was escaping they would know which lines to go for to get back to Britain.
