Description Sunrize Dried Porcini Mushrooms - wild mushrooms native to the Alpine regions of Italy and France with a distinctive aroma and rich flavour. Porcini mushrooms, Boletus edulis, are especially prized by Italian cuisine.
The Sunrize Fact-ory Mycology is the study of fungi and organisms that, like fungi, do not produce their own food by means of photosynthesis, and reproduce by means of spores.
Usage Use as you would fresh mushrooms in pasta, rice, omelettes, soups, stews and casseroles. Soak in boiling water for 5 minutes - reserve juice for sauces etc.

Storage Requirements Keep in a cool dry place and once opened store in an airtight container. Once soaked use within 2 hours.
On the Label Porcini mushrooms have a strong distinctive flavour and are ideal in soups, stews and particularly risotto. Directions: Place the dried mushrooms in a small bowl and pour boiling water over them. Leave for 10 minutes until soft then drain through a fine sieve and conserve the liquid for your recipe if required.
