Description
Sunrize Sultanas - plump succulent select sultanas. Dried seedless white grapes. Sweeter, lighter in colour and softer than raisins. It is believed that the Sultana Grape originated in Anatolia in Turkey, was taken to Greece and from there, sent all over the world.
The Sunrize Fact-ory
HMS Sultana was a small Royal Navy schooner that patrolled the American coast from 1768 through 1772, preventing smuggling and collecting duties.
Usage
sweet and savoury dishes, cakes, biscuits, puddings and great for snacking! Goes well with meat, fish and poultry.
