Description Sunrize Tandoori Masala - includes coriander, cumin, salt, paprika, garlic, chilli, cinnamon and cloves - a mixture of spices specifically for use with a clay oven called a Tandoor.
The Sunrize Fact-ory The tandoor, an earthenware pot used as an oven, achieves such high heat (well over 700 degrees F) that they cook a chicken half in less than 5 minutes.
Usage Popular with Indian and Afghani cooking. Traditionally used for dishes reqruiring yoghurt including fish, meat and vegetables. Great used with Barbecues! Mix part spice with 25 parts yoghurt. Coat food with the mix and roast, grill or fry as normal.
Storage Requirements Store in a cool dry place and once opened keep in an airtight container for no more than 6 months.
On the Label A flavoursome blend of spices to marinate meat, fish. Simply mix 1 part Tandoori Masala with 8 parts natural yogurt and blend well with your meat or fish. When marinating whole fish or large pieces of meat, cut slashes into it to allow the flavour to fully develop. Leave in the fridge overnight or for at least 2 hours before grilling or baking.
