Description Sunrize Thai Fragrant Rice - Also known as Thai jasmine, it has a subtle flavour and because of its delicate fragrance and soft texture, it is the rice of choice in Asian cooking. The slightly sticky but fluffy rice is perfect in fried rice, stir-fries, Thai curries and other Asian dishes.

Usage Great in Asian cookery. Do not cook with salt to preserve the delicate aroma. To Cook: Wash and place in a saucepan with approximately 2cm water above the rice. Bring to the boil. Stir ONCE. Reduce heat to very low and cover. Cook for 50 mins until tender. Remove from heat, leave lid on and do not touch for 5 minutes - perfect!

Storage Requirements Store in a cool dry place and once opened keep in an airtight container.
On the Label Our Thai rice has a beautiful perfumed flavour. It is also known as jasmine rice because of this delicate perfume. Directions for use: Rinse rice before use, then place in a lidded sauce pan and cover with water approx 1cm above level of rice. Bring to the boil, then cover and turn down heat to lowest setting and simmer for approx 8 minutes. Take off the heat and leave to stand for 10 minutes leaving it covered.
