The Sunrize Fact-ory In medieval times, women would often give knights and warriors gifts that included thyme leaves as it was believed to bring courage to the bearer.
Usage Used to flavour meats, soups and stews. Good for stuffings and with tomato based foods. It is used in French cuisine, where it is an important element in a bouquet garni, as well as in Herbes de Provence and Creole cuisine
Storage Requirements Store in a cool dry place and once opened keep in an airtight container for no more than 6 months.
On the Label Thyme is a wonderfully perfumed garden herb originally from the Mediterranean. Although it has a strong flavour, it blends well with other herbs and is the basis for French Herbes de Provence and Bouquet Garni. It is great with all types of meat as well as stews, soups and casseroles.
